Work place politics, intrigues, rumours… back stabbing here and there. I just can’t imagine how people get so negative and come up with all sorts of excuses for their laziness. There was a time when I asked my boss” why do you allow this people saying nasty things about you? I just remembered him saying… Ignore those brouhaha has… because at the end of the day, no matter what they say “I’m still the boss!”
Guess he’s right!! He is in control…
A year ago I meditated on the thought of connecting to someone from my past. A person whom I haven’t seen or talked to for more than half of my life (about 19 years). I affirmed the thought of talking to this person although I do not where he might be until one day I did. Although it is not a surprise how we could find someon
e from everywhere with just a click of the mouse. I typed his name an “presto!” I got his name and the company he works for.
I thought that things would be better if I am able to talk to this person; I thought it would rid me of the thoughts of what could have been. I think I was right but at times it’s better to let things as they are, for “anything that you do not know won’t hurt you. Most especially if you would just receive rejection.
I then realized that Louise Hay’s principle is true. “the past is over and done with… we must learn how to live in the present… Looking back only gets us stocked. Living for the now enables us to make the best of our lives so that we can have good memories with no turning back
